Harmonizing Age-old Traditions in Modern Discourse

I am a scholar with a strong focus on the comparative examination of the medieval and early modern Christian, Islamic, Jewish, and Indian traditions of political and strategic thought and statecraft. My affiliations span across esteemed institutions such as the Centre for Military History and Conflict Studies at the United Service Institution of India (USI), South Asia's oldest and foremost tri-service think tank (est. 1870) for research into strategic thought and military history.

I am also a Life Member of Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge, and hold concurrent appointments as Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for European Global Studies at the University of Basel (Switzerland) and the Director of the Early Modern Greek Culture Program at The Medici Archive Project (Florence, Italy).

I serve as General Editor for the book series Medieval and Early Modern Europe and the World, Brepols, and as Editor for the Edinburgh Studies in Comparative Political Theory and Intellectual History, Edinburgh University Press.

My work is a confluence of cultures, a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary political thought and leadership. With every project, I aim to unravel the intricate threads of political ideas across diverse civilizations, fostering a dialogue that is rich in history and forward in thinking.
